Thankyou Nancy The eggs are very hard and the dust is poisonous. The egg is placed in a glass box and you put just your hands inside the box and wear a mask so you don't breathe the dust. I first draw on the egg and then use a tool similar to a dentists drill to do the carving. The egg is then wired with an oven globe to make a lamp. jaycee
