Egyptian Themes

This is the first loomed collar I made. I have also posted some pics of Egyptian themed bracelet patterns.

The turtles are 4 drop peyote, the feather design is 2 drop peyote and the others are done in loom or square stitch.

African Inspiration

Many people have asked where I get the inspiration for my patterns. I grew up in Southern Africa and spent alot of time in the bush watching wildlife.

I have just returned from South Africa where I took the two photos you see here.

More versions of Crystal Ribbons

These two bracelets were stitched by my friends, Laulo and Rosalie.

Rosalie used Czech fire-polished crystals and size 11 seed beads.

Laulo used Red Magma crystals and Gold pearls.

The first two pictures above are a variation of the Crystal Ribbons bracelet on the left.

The technique is triangle weave and I used a combination of Pearls, crystals and metal beads

CELESTIAL BRACELET

I am in South Africa at the moment, because my Dad is very sick, so I have not been able to make any new patterns. I have made a new bracelet called Celestial and I am now working on the pattern. I really love this one - it is so beautiful!

I will be back in Australia this weekend and hopefully have the pattern ready by the end of next week.
